Gary Monetti participated in a technical meeting held at the NIST labs with the PSCR in Boulder Co. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together key members of the NPSTC broadband deployables working group to further define the operational requirements for Deployable LTE Broadband technologies for Public Safety. The meeting was equally represented by members from Public Safety, Industry and Academia. Significant progress was made during the 3 day event held Sept. 29th – Oct. 1st. On going work is being done, the results of which will be presented to the FirstNet PSAC then, once approved, to the FirstNet Technical team. “This demonstrates our companies ongoing commitment to Public Safety to help ensure their missions operational needs are met” Gary Monetti, Founder and Managing Director, Monetti & Associates.

Monetti & Associates executes CRADA with NIST PSCR Lab to support Research and Development Testing of advanced Micro EPC and Green Cell Technologies from Virtual Network Communications (VNC). “We are very excited to have this CRADA executed with the PSCR Lab in Boulder. Monetti & Associates joins forces with startup Virtual Network Communications (VNC) to bring technology advances in Micro EPC LTE and Small Cell Technologies to Public Safety and Commercial market segments. Gary Monetti is now acting as SVP, Sales and Marketing for VNC. VNC has come through with major breakthroughs in the development of a micro EPC that has implemented the full EPC in compliance with the 3GPP standard on a very powerful computing platform the size of credit card. This was achieved through Network Virtualization Function (NVF) implementation. The company is coupling this technology with a new Small Cell it is developing called Green Cell which is targeted at being the lowest price, smallest most light weight EnodeB in the market. It will be focused across many applications to include aerial and terrestrial deployable LTE communications platforms to help with emergency response and other critical events with commercial networks are either down or congested due to extreme call volume. “I am excited to be partnering with a good colleague of mine, Mohan Tammisetti, founder and CTO of VNC.
