Monetti and associates has announced they are expanding their professional consulting services to include Public Safety Staffing, Policy and Governance services. This comes after the addition of Police Maj. Edward Bergin (M.S.) addition to the team as Sr. Associates Public Safety consulting services. “Ed has over 32 years of law enforcement experience and currently serves with the Anne Arundel County Police Department in Maryland. He previously served with the Howard County Police Department and United States Capitol Police. Edward has held several positions in law enforcement, and in his current position as a Bureau Commander, he has commanded several units to include; Criminal Investigations, Narcotics/Vice, Special Operations, School Resource Officers, 911 Center, Crime Lab, Evidence Collection, Police Personnel, Management Planning, Central Records, Property Management/Quartermaster and Animal Control. In 2014, he was selected as the first member of the department to be a Visiting Fellow at the International Chiefs of Police (IACP). Monetti & Associates, LLC expands support to 3 new National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) Working Groups. Gary Monetti, Founder and Managing Director of Monetti & Associates, LLC has announced he has volunteered for 3 newly formed NPSTC working groups. NPSTC’s Governing Board recently approved the creation of three new Working Groups that will operate under the Broadband and Technology Committee. They are LMR to LTE Migration, Broadband Emerging Technologies, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Robotics. “We are excited to be supporting these three new working groups. These are in addition to the support we provide to the NPSTC Broadband Deployables working group and the Analytics working group being run out of NIST PSCR labs. Being able to collaborate with industry, academia and public safety to bring meaningful ideas and recommendations on technology to help public safety better serve citizens is a very important and fulfilling role for us.
