Summary
Arvind brings over 20 years of experience in successful innovation, architecture, engineering and technical leadership, in commercial wireless telecommunication industry and wireless technology applications for national defense and public safety. He has held key positions helping innovations at Bell Northern Research a research arm of Nortel Networks, Ericsson and Ericsson Federal. He has many years of experience promoting innovations in 3G/4G wireless telecommunications through start-ups such as Xybridge (acquired by Zhone), for wireless optimization/efficiency, interceptions for national defense (start-ups such as Cyneta Networks and Oceus Networks) and public safety application (such as Kodiak Networks and Nextel). Under his technical leadership and innovation, Nextel push to talk was transformed into Android and iOS based mission critical application for push-to-talk. He has thorough knowledge of inner workings of wireless networks to advocate ad-hoc use of 3G/4G technology for national defense applications such as stand-alone networks or wireless interceptions. He strongly believes that stronger cybersecurity focus is needed for wireless applications as the world is transformed from fixed networks to mobile networks.
Arvind is currently helping his client with technology strategy for FirstNet, a nationwide public safety LTE network for first responders. The scope of this nationwide wireless network will cover all 56 states and territories with virtualized core using NFV/SDN cloud technology suitable for wireless network.
Arvind holds a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Bombay, India, a M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Houston and an executive MBA in Finance. He holds a Cybersecurity Strategy certification from Georgetown University. He holds 5 patents in various key improvements to 3G and 4G wireless technologies and cybersecurity interception methods and has many additional patents are pending approval.
