Venu Ayala is an experienced management consultant, recognized for his contributions while bringing Monetti & Associates over 18 years of experience in the cyber, cloud, telecom, aerospace and federal strategic consulting. He enjoys advising clients on issues ranging from IT systems compliance, business process optimization, change management, internal controls and various risk assessments and security design projects. Mr. Ayala has architected and managed the information systems/product design and development for several commercial, federal and state agencies, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives in the federal government and commercial enterprises. Key responsibilities include creating and enhancing product/service lines and developing cyber/cloud strategies that build brand equity, reduce risk, and promote a strong compliant corporate image. This  niche evolved by primarily being involved with DHS for a little over 10 years , advocating solutions to their technical challenges and bringing to fruition the future goals that DHS cyber envisions. Specifically his team has supported the Cyber PMO (mission support contract) that started off as the CNCI/HSPD-23 initiative and bring an excellent understanding and view that applies to all the federal agencies trying to comply with FISMA, Continuous Monitoring, Cyberscope and other related mandates (TIC initiative, HSPD-12). They have been associated with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (DHS CDM) from its inception (roots) and bring an insider’s perspective of the key capabilities that agencies/entities are looking for in a product/solution to improve the cyber posture – this stems from our support to SAIR Tier 1 & 2, Continuous Monitoring Working Group (CMWG) & DHS ISIMC;  They have Managed & Developed current and future FISMA metrics that all agencies are responsible for implementing as part of the ISCM mandate and were responsible for monitoring Cyberscope & conducting Cyberstats for various agencies; Additionally they have supported NPPD with CyberSecurity Planning, Cloud Strategy on the lines of FEDRAMP and architecture as wells as program management and communications. Other client support in areas of cyber includes Freddie Mac, NOAA, FCC, DOE & EPA. Overall, an enthusiastic, innovative, and decisive leader, he manages strategic and tactical operations by building innovative and transformational analytic solutions that address emerging management, technology and operational issues. He holds a MBA from Cornell University, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University, Graduate Certificate in Communications and Networking and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Honors) from India.
